With colder weather comes dry skin, but that doesn’t mean you need to lose your glow. I have three products you need for glowing skin through the winter:
The first product is Benefit’s Watt’s Up Highlighter. With this product, a little goes a long way (I’ve been using the mini version every day and still haven’t finished it!). To apply this, I usually rub my ring finger over the top of the product and then apply to the tops of my cheekbones, under the ends of my eyebrows, on my cupid’s bow, and some down my nose. This highlighter gives a bit of a champagne pop to all of the right areas of the face, giving the skin a subtle glow.
The next product is the Matte Radiance Baked Powder by Laura Mercier. At first glance, this product can be somewhat intimidating and seem daunting to use, but once you get the hang of applying it, the formula looks so great on the skin. To use this product, I use a big fluffy brush and swirl it around in the product and shake off the excess. I apply this just under my cheek bones, on my temples, around my forehead, and down my neck. After I’ve applied this, I take my foundation brush and smooth out the powder to make it look like a natural bronze on the skin. This gives the face a healthy glow.
The last product is Tarte’s Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush in Thrilled (this is also a mini version). This product has the tiniest hint of shimmer that runs through the formulation. I apply this to the apples of my cheeks with a blush brush. The product gives the cheeks the perfect coloring with a small added shine.
