3 Quick and Easy Breakfast Ideas for the Girl on the Go

If you’re anything like I was in college, you’re busy and you have little to no time to sit down and eat breakfast. I always grabbed a not-so-healthy something to eat during my drive into work. By 9 a.m. I was starving and in need of something else to eat. Today I’m going to share three quick and easy breakfast ideas for those of you on the go in the morning with no time to spend eating breakfast (plus, they’ll fill you up until lunch)!

For all of these breakfasts, I use these Ball half pint mason jars. Using jars makes it easy to take breakfast in the car with no mess involved and they’re easy to clean!

01. Chunky Monkey Smoothie – The first breakfast that I make a few times a week is a smoothie. All you need is one frozen banana, a spoonful of peanut butter, 1 and 1/4 cup of milk, and a tablespoon of chocolate chips. I blend all these ingredients together and it fills up two mason jars full. Two breakfasts in one go! So easy.

02. Acai smoothie – I love this smoothie so much! I use 1 acai packet, 1 frozen banana (you can also use frozen berries too), a little honey (around 2 tsp), and 1/4 cup apple juice. After blending, I pour the smoothie into two mason jars. If you live in Indy, I recently found really good acai in Trader Joe’s, but I’ve also found it in Fresh Thyme too.

03. Yogurt parfait – Gary eats this one for breakfast every morning! I pour vanilla yogurt into the mason jar and then top with granola. He loves it!
