Easy Christmas Party Makeup

Easy Christmas Party Makeup

With Christmas parties and events right around the corner, I thought what better time to share some party makeup that you can replicate and doesn’t take much time at all! I love this look because you can wear it to all kinds of events whether more formal or more casual. Let’s get into it:

I first applied my Moonlit Highlight all over my eyelids since I have terrible purple veins all over them! I then set my eyelids with a bit of Airspun Translucent Powder just to make sure they don’t get oily. Afterwards, I apply a little Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer – it’s been my favorite and go-to for YEARS. It’s extremely reliable and I know that my eyeshadow won’t move all night.

Once my eyelids are primed and ready to go, I applied my Sabrina eyeshadow all over the lids. It’s a beautiful champagne shade – perfect for the base. I then dusted Trust into the crease and blended it out. I then applied Bright Eyes in the shape of a V on the outer corner and blended it out. Afterwards, I applied Gilded in the same shape of a V on top of Bright Eyes and blended it all out. I then applied my favorite mascara, L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise, to my eyelashes (and a little bit on my bottom lashes too).

For my base, I used my Moonlit Highlight all over my face – especially under my eyes that always have darkness! Then, I applied my Ash Contour under my cheekbones, on my forehead, down the sides of my nose, and under my jawline. I then topped off my contour with my favorite Tarte bronzer just to warm up my face a little bit more and set the contour. For blush, I used Bare – the perfect color for barely-there blush that still freshens up my complexion (and my go-to!). To add a little glow, I used my Honey Illuminator down the center of my nose, on my cupid’s bow, and on my cheekbones.

I then went back in and applied my Sabrina eyeshadow to the inner corner of my eyes, applied just a touch of Gilded above my bottom lashes on the outer corner, finished off my eyebrows with my NYX Tinted Brow Mascara, used Bare on my lips as a lipstick, and set the highlight under my eyes with my Vanilla Dust Setting Powder.

For extra glow, I would use my Tarte highlight to go over the Honey Illuminator.

For an extra dramatic look, I suggest using Stila’s black liquid eyeliner.
