One of my favorite activities during wedding planning was picking out my makeup and allowing my bridesmaids pick theirs. There’s something so fun about deciding on what you want your wedding makeup to look like! I’m in a friend’s wedding coming up soon and opted to do my own makeup (since I have such sensitive skin and won’t let anyone touch it), so I’ve been practicing what I’m going to do for the day-of. For today’s post, I’m going to share the look I’m going to do for the wedding for all you bridesmaids-to-be out there!

Base
For the base, I used Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation, which is the foundation I used on my wedding day. The foundation makes the skin look so flawless, covers up redness, and doesn’t feel heavy or look cakey on the skin at all. It’s a great option for a long day of taking pictures and dancing!
The foundation should cover any redness from spots and dark circles, but I recommend using Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer under the eyes because you’ll most likely have an early morning in preparation for the wedding.
To make sure everything stays in place, I would apply Maybelline’s Fit Me Powder in the T-zone – on the forehead, nose, and chin (where my makeup seems to disappear first). For under the eyes, I would use the tiniest amount of Tarte’s Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Setting Powder.

Cheeks
To add some warmth to the face, I used Laura Mercier’s Matte Radiance Baked Powder for bronzing up under the cheekbones and the temples. For the cheeks, I recommend using Tarte’s Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Memorable for a natural flush. For highlighter, I used Tarte’s Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Enthused. I really like using this blush as a highlighter (above the cheekbones, under the eyebrows, down the nose, and on the cupid’s bow) because it’s got a champagne sheen to it and looks natural on the skin.

Eyes & Eyebrows
For the eyes, I used the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion all over the lids to elongate the wear time of the eyeshadows. For this specific look, I used Urban Decay’s Naked2 eyeshadow palette. For the base color, I used Bootycall all over the lid and then applied Chopper on top. I used Pistol in the crease to give some dimension to the eye. For the outer corner and outer crease, I used Snakebite to give the eyes even more dimension. Once all of those were applied, I blended them out and then added Chopper back into the inner part of the eye. At the end, I applied Bootycall in the corner of the eye to brighten up the eye area.
For eyeliner, I recommend using Stila’s Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in black – you don’t want your eye liner to move when you cry watching the bride walk down the aisle! Once the eye liner had been applied and had dried, I curled my lashes with the Revlon eyelash curler for fluttery eyelashes. For mascara, I used Maybelline’s Volum’Express The Rocket Mascara, but would recommend something like L’OREAL’s Voluminous Carbon Black Volume Building Mascara instead.
As usual, I used Nyx’s Tinted Brow Mascara to thicken up and fill in my eyebrows.

Lips & Final Touches
For lips, I used Tarte’s lip gloss in the shade Blushing Bride for a neutral, mauve pink color (which is the one I wore on my wedding day). For final touches, I recommend bouncing a beauty blender all over the face and especially under the eyes so you don’t encounter any creasing in your makeup. I also recommend using evian®’s Facial Spray* to give a last-minute spritz of hydration to the skin to finish off the makeup to give a smooth, natural look. The facial spray is a must-have on the wedding day to give your skin some instant hydration as you’ll be dancing the night away.

I didn’t have time to take pictures of the full look, so if you’d like to see it, it’s the same as my makeup here (except I’d go a little more dramatic with the eyes and bronzed skin for the bridesmaid makeup).
