There’s been some hype around the new L’OREAL Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation, but is it that good? I bought this foundation two weeks ago and I’ve been testing it out to see if the product really lives up to the hype.
The packaging says that it includes SPF 15, is for normal/dry skin, has a radiant finish, and is hydrating. The formula is water-based, so you need to shake the foundation before applying it. The packaging also states that it is medium coverage.
The packaging reads that the product can be worn up to 24 hours, which if I’m honest, really grosses me out! SO many clogged pores.
The package states: “dot onto skin in rolling motion for flawless coverage.”
I applied the foundation to the back of my hand while I applied a bit of concealer under my eyes and then buffed the foundation in with a buffing brush. I had some redness peeking through after the first application, so I went back in with a detailing brush and just applied a little bit more foundation over the redness. I didn’t apply any powder or concealer over the top. The coverage can be built up to more of a full coverage, but I’d let the foundation set before adding another coat. Once I allowed the foundation to set in place, it really looked like my skin was glowing and healthy.
Although I did notice redness showing through the foundation around hour six of wear, I think the foundation has great lasting power considering it’s a drugstore foundation.
Since the initial test without any powder on top, I’ve mixed it with Nars Sheer Glow Foundation, which looks so good together. I’ve also added a bit of powder all over the face and the foundation has lasted over six hours, but the glow has shone through and given my face a healthy sheen. Overall, I love this foundation and I definitely recommend it for all the normal to dry-skinned girls out there.
Have you tried L’OREAL’s Infallible Pro-Glow foundation?
